artabria From what I have read, Dissidia NT is getting a "free" version this month for PS4 AND for PC. "Free" because of how the characters roster will work: the free roster will change now and then, but you can buy the characters you like.
Now, the key question is: will they fix the problem that is the lack of servers and the lag? I'm not exactly great at the game, but the main reason I barely play is because of the lag that tends to kill my enjoyment of the game. More players will mean less waiting times, but unless they give the game its own servers, I think the playerbase won't actually grow that much.
Seriously, the free version will be abandoned quickly if they don't fix the lag issues, because nothing sucks more than managing to get close enough to an enemy and then discover that you can't attack because your character froze.
