Dissidia NT Free edition: Ranked system?

 Okay, I just realized something: Are they going to change how ranked works? The character roster will change now and then in the free version, but ranked in Dissidia NT is not like ranked in Overwatch. The player doesn't have a common rank to their account, what they have is a rank for each of the characters.

How is Square going to deal with this?
