I didn't remember when Fire Emblem: Three Houses was coming out, so I went to check on Amazon and it's 30% off?

It comes out on July 26th, so I'll probably be in the hamlet that day. Pros: I get to have the game without having to pick the car to go to another town. Cons: I don't have an internet connection in the hamlet and I fear a day one patch.

I have also played a bit more of Fates, plus hit Google when I saw far too many types of seals. Apparently you don't go back to level 1 when you reclass or promote, and for leveling beyond the level cap you need another type of seal that's not cheap? Damn it, game, let me train my one hit wonders in peace.

I still don't know who to pair with whom for all those children units. Right now I'm just leveling everyone's support rank to A and avoiding the S rank. .

Why can't I ship Xander in this game, IS, WHY?

I honestly don't know anything about Laslow beyond that he's Inigo, which I discovered by playing Heroes and asking Google "why does this Laslow character look exactly like Inigo?"

I read that Birthright was the easiest of the three and I wanted something relaxing, so I picked it.

Which I'm kind of thankful for? This game has far to many seals to reclass/promote units. I think I have counted five, FIVE, XD

Is Revalations story *that* bad? I'm a bit meh about Birthright, right now, to be honest. It's not a disaster, but I don't find it as entertaining as Echoes or Awakening?

That's fair, but you don't get to pair up the non-Birthright cast in Birthright X3 Only Revelations lets you mix and match.

Revelations should be burned, frankly -- it's the worst of the three, and managing to be worse than Conquest is quite the accomplishment. I dislike Birthright for entirely different reasons and yes, being boring is one of them. But all of Fates is a pile of bad writing and I'm fond of some of the cast despite the story, not because of it.

So I hate to tell you but Birthright, despite being boring, unfortunately has the most coherent plot of the three games.

Also, unless you're really power-gaming for some reason, and you don't need to in Birthright at all, don't worry about getting anyone over the level 20 cap. Save that for Revelation. Everyone's stats cap out waaaaay lower than Awakening so it's honestly just a level number without better stats very, very quickly. (says someone with a level, idek, 70? Ryoma lurking somewhere)

I did a lot of level grinding in Awakening, but that was me having fun collecting skills and giving as many characters as possible that Galenforce skill.

I have no idea of how the fight against Grima usually goes, but mine was quick, XD

If everyone caps fast, I guess I'll just check if I'm interested in any other skills for my character and that's it.

Yeah, I don't remember Grima being very difficult, though I mostly did all my grinding after, so I could get Priam. Bastard made me work for him. ^_^

Best save the fiddly skill and class-changes and whatnot for Revelation, since you'll have a lot more to work with. After my first playthru, I ended up just making notecards with info on them so I could pre-plan friendships and marriages to get classes I wanted, decent supports, and kids with decent hair. (BE CAREFUL WITH DWYER!)
