Final Fantasy things

 Yesterday I got the confirmation email that my Theatrhythm Curtain Call copy is on its way! I love the first game, so I can't wait to get my hands on it this Tuesday, :D

And I'm stupidly excited about the new teaser for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It looks good, so far? But Square wants me to wait a month to have more news and then who know how many years more to have the game because, lest face it, this is coming for PS5.

 My biggest concern is this turning into another Final Fantasy XV situation and that I have to take out the "Fourteen years in Azakaban" gif again and that the resulting game (specially with all that "making 3 or 4 games thing") has to be A) be patched 100 times post-release and b) The story looks like two different video games stitched together.

Anyway, for now I'm going to be optimistic and maybe try to finish Final Fantasy I this weekend to celebrate, :P

The waiting a month for more news part is understandable, at least -- they're probably planning a bigger infodump or another trailer for E3.

They confirmed in a later tweet that they have a launch schedule planned.

I totally get waiting for E3 for the big infodump.

He does have someone else assigned as co-producer by Squenix in the last few months, though, so we might get lucky. Hehe.

I'm only new to Final Fantasy (I have a couple of the games, but I've yet to get around to them properly), but I'm excited to try Final Fantasy 7. I see you're a big Fire Emblem fan, too, and I enjoy your stories about experiencing those games for the first time!

I'm still playing through the Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem games. Final Fantasy is easier, because all the games are now on PC.

Fire Emblem... I have only played three of the latest games and currently working on Birthright, I won't call myself a big fan yet, XD

You're making progress though, that's what counts! I actually prefer the older Fire Emblem games for GBA, GC, and the Wii. If you can get your hands on the (quite rare) Path of Radiance, do, because that's the very best the series has ever been, I think.
