 So.

Elder Scrolls Online.

I logged in to do the daily random dungeon, because I'm leveling a character and I needed that sweet XP that the daily gives you. The character is a DPS, so the queue takes quite a while and I had to wait for 30 minutes. In the meantime, I started to talk with someone else in the zone chat that was doing a daily quest to kill one of the World Bosses.

So we agreed that after the dungeon, I would PM them to help with that boss with my healer (which is my highest leveled character). I mean, I have killed World Bosses with the help of another played that randomly showed up. It can't be that hard, right?

The boss in question was Queen's Consort. In Vvanderfell. And I totally forgot that DLC bosses are supposed to be harder.

And there we are. One DPS at level 33 (cap is 50), another DPS with 147 Champion Points (the levels after that 50 cap) and me, your friendly neighborhood healer with 277 Champion Points. Tank? Ah, yes, THAT.

We got killed on our first try, cause we're very squishy. It was then we realized a very important fact: we needed a tank. But we didn't have a tank, because there wasn't that many people online where we were.

So the level 33 DPS became our bait I mean, he was our tank (their idea, don't blame me, XD).

There was A LOT of healing involved but we killed that bastard and AoE attacks for the spawning critters are your friend, XD

(There was also a lot of running).

You know what game I picked up again thanks to Fire Emblem? Age of Empires II.

Last time I played it, I was 12 years old. Guess what I was playing yesterday? I finally bought a legal copy of the game, because the pirated copy that I got when I was a kid doesn't work in Windows 10 (the AI let's you win in 5 minutes or less).

It was as much fun as I remembered, even if I'm still just playing against the AI on easy because it has been 15 YEARS since I last played. I used to play online as a kid, but now the idea of joining the online makes me anxious. I know I'm going to lose rather quickly, because my strategies are basically the strategies of a 12 years old, XD

The maps I played yesterday were 1v1 maps and damn, my civilization barely expands before finding the enemy. I remember that I liked t play 1v1 games against the AI but with the biggest maps, and I loved to design this ridiculous big civilizations with double and triple walls (destroy those walls AI!)

But I kind of want to go back to the online. I wonder if clans are still a thing? Back then my English wasn't that great, so I was in the Spanish-speaker zone and I remember that my cousin convinced me to join a clan called Arul. There was also a clan named Caballeros de Rohan (Knights of Rohan) and I think that the one formed only by women was called Princesas (Princesses)?
