I made a submarine base in Minecraft
Jun. 30th, 2019 11:33 pmI have returned to my audiobooks for the summer and the first book has been Sorcery of Thorns, by Margaret Rogerson. The narrator is Emily Ellet and she's great! She has only narrated three other books and none of them are my cup or tea, so I hope she narrates more things fantasy-realted.
Anyway, I spent the 14 hours that the book lasts constructing a submarine base in Minecraft and it's incomplete. This, of course, means that I need to listen to another book while completing my Overworld masterpiece. And I say Overworld because you can bet there's going to be a Nether base and a End base, I didn't construct a Portal Room to just not use it!
I have also gone back to my old enemy: French. I'm using Duolingo for warm up, but my great foe is a book: Cavalier Vert, by Kristen Britain. 500 pages.
On one hand, it's going to take me several months. On the other hand, deciding to read the sixth Harry Potter book in English because the Spanish translation was taking too long really helped me with my English.
