Mixing studies and life
Nov. 14th, 2019 11:43 amIn Spain, to work for the goverment you need to pass a series of exams and be among the best of your group. I'm currently studying to pass said exams and, boy, I am having some trouble mixing studying and having a life outside it.
It has been a bit over 2 years since I finished my master degree, and turns out I was a bit out of practice, but I think I'm finally starting the get the hang (again) of it. So far, I'm reserving the afternoons to studying the laws that I have to memorize and writing summaries of them. It's not that I change the wording, but by some reason I study better if the writing is my own? As much as it has always been that way, I still find it weird.
I should probably also start to summarize the more theorical part of the temary, but that's for the third exam, so the laws come first.
That's for the study part, for the LIFE part... Well, I have started to work again on my To Read List and I have also started to write more in Spanish. Mostly drabbles, but there's that multi-chapter fic that I'm slowly writing and that I want to update at least once per month.
And now, the videogames update:

kalloway do, but I haven't read that much and most of the recent books are by Spanish authors, ^^U

- Afterparty. Currently on my way to outdrink some Hell Monarchs so Satan will let me try to outdrink him. I love Sam, my personal Charon, and Milo's backstory looks interesting, but the drinking mechanic is not something I 100% like and I don't think it's actually needed. Yes, that you can get out of Hell by outdrinking the Devil is hilarious, but... it's not really a mechanic to get new dialogue choices that I truly like?
- Fire Emblem Three Houses. FINALLY started the Black Eagles route AKA my second playthrough. I'm going to try to play a bit each day, so maybe I'll play a month each day. They're not long, so I may play it after dinner.
- Fire Emblem Warriors OR Hi, yes, I'm still talking about this stupid game. While I have finished the Story Mode, I'm still playing the History Mode now and then and I'm this close to recruiting Male!Corrin. At least, I think I am, because I got Female!Robin after finishing the first half of her map...
