Rant because I'm angry.
Benidorm Fest's final was yesterday and I'm still pissed off. The problem is not that Chanel won, the problem is everything else that has been happening over the last weeks.
It was comment, after comment, after comment that Spain can't send a song in Galician because it can't represent Spain and that "it's not that I don't like the song, but no one understands Galician in Europe.
The fact that every other participant received a summary about their music and work and all Tanxugueiras got was the host comparing Galician with an invented language and acting like them singing in Galician is like a child doing something funny (aw, look, how cute they are singing in this random language).
I'm pissed. I'm very pissed about how they were treated and how we were reminded that the only language that has a right to exist in this country is Spanish.
