A/N: Getting exactly 100 words always feels so satisfying.

He never explained to Billie the hungry thing that was the Void. The cultists that had sacrificed a boy hadn't done so in a search for power, at least not completly. They had expected to be favoured by the being reborn in that altar, but they had other reasons to.

They needed a vessel to contain it, to stop its advance in the mortal plane, and they had found one in a young boy that could hear its call.
 

He looked at the Empress sleeping next to him and thought about the chaos he could still taste under her skin.

I used to write fic for them and I wanted to stay active in the Dishonored fandom as a whole but most of the graphics/edit makers blocked me for shipping Emsider, so,,, lol. But there's something just so rich and gothic and emotional and AMAZING about the Outsider and Emily's dynamic, so it's always had a special place in my heart. I'm so happy to see another shipper, and fic writer. ;_; You've got an amazing writer's voice.

I'm in a Discord server with other emsider shippers, so most shipping discussion happens between us. Do you want me to ask for an invite? There was a post on tag in Tumblr a while back, it's how I found them.

Also, yes, the Emsider dynamic is wonderful. I miss estora, her writing is sooo good, I still get AO3 updates from her, but she's in the Detroit: Become Human fandom now.

(And ahh, that's the best/worst, isn't it? When a writer you love shifts onto something new that *they* love, but it's not quite your thing. I'll check out her writing; I could always use more Emsider content)

It's not exactly emsider, more like "this two are flirting and if Daud is in the fic he wants them to stop making things awkward for him".
