Back when Deathloop was announced, I was curious about how the time loop was going to work, specially because Arkane said that they were keeping the 9 chapter structure. From what I have found so far, a chapter here means completing a loop and its missions without dying.
It probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, you ARE expected to die and have to start again from the beginning several times, but you at minimum you'll keep all the information you have found. It's a bit like a puzzle/exploration game, where you have to backtrack now and then to figure out a puzzle.
Except, you know, with MURDER.
So far, I haven't noticed any kind Chaos system like in Dishonored, so my infallible stealth technique (AKA "there can be no witness if everyone is dead") is being used.
