Finished Voice of Cards: The Dragon Island Roars. Story wasn't perfect, and the final boss fight felt a bit like "you have to fight because there has to be a final boss fight". An extra line or two about why not stoping him would be bad would have been great.

That said, I will play Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden in the future. I don't mind long games, but sometimes I want to play a short RPG. The Dragon Island Roars last around 15 hours, a bit more if you want to 100%, and it's the perfect lenght.

No idea if The Forsaken Maiden's story will be better than this one or not, but I won't mind if Square decided to make more games in this series/like this one.

Oh, I still have the demo for the first one sitting on my Switch but haven't gotten to it. I'll see about bumping it up my list. I haven't seen anyone talking about it before (but figured it was okay/did okay if it got a sequel).

It's not a masterpiece, but it kept me entertained. It's a turn-based RPG for when you don't have a lot of free time.

As a general rule, battles are not very complicated/hard, but I'm fine with it. The game lasts 20 hours, if you add harder battles you need to add better equipment/a higher level cap, and that would make the game longer.
