Catching up on Final Fantasy 7 news
Feb. 4th, 2020 06:35 pmFinal Fantasy 7 Remake's has been moved back to April. I'm all for finishing the game properly and taking your time, but, please, don't make me download for 2 hours a Day One patch like you did with FF15, Square. I still have to play the DLC because I really don't feel like spending 2+ hours dowloading everything.
Aaaanyway, new trailer dropped 4 days ago, I have finally watchced it, and I'm again curious about the mysterious SOLDIER that has popped again in this trailer. Who are you, Roche?
And did we just see the end scenes of the game? Part 1 was supposed to be just the Midgard bit (unless I missed some news), and that last scenes looked like when they leave. What is that smoke surrounding Shinra's Tower? Spirits? Is it something like at the end of Advent Children, when Sephiroth finally shows up and fights Cloud?
I'm also now the owner of Art of Fire Emblem Awakening, which has lead to nightmares now that I'm seeing Grima's concept art. His upper jaw... detaches. And there's a head underneath. And that head looks like something that won't have been out of place in the Annihilation movie.
Seeing Nah's and Nowi's concept art has also led me to ask myself "what about Corrin?" Nah is half-dragon, and she's long lived because of that. So, what about Corrin, who is also (kind of?) half-dragon, half-human? Did Fates mention anything about that?
