Shaman King things

I have developed the tendency of waiting until several episodes are out and then watch them on one go. I'm going to blame Netflix for giving us all the episodes of the season in one go.

I may have to start watching the old anime, because I feel like some of the pacing wasn't this fast before. It may just be my memories, who knows. But I swear that the Lilirara part wasn't this fast? I want to see that part again in the old anime, because it's interesting and shows a bit of the mess that Hao caused 500 years.

Also, love that Yoh and the others being confused because they're finally noticing that Hao, Yoh and Silva look similar to each other, :3

I had also completly forgotten about Ren's father having that massive Oversoul and that he was hiding his real form? Was this even part of the original anime?

Oh, and Hao and his catchphrase finally showed up! I love the scene where Hao and Yoh are just waving at each other in the airplane built with totally authentic Patch tribe techniques (which is not a lie, because the technique in question is an Oversoul, xD).

I have finally started to collect the manga, and I'm off to read volumes 1 and 2. We're finally getting a translation of the full version, and I always wanted to own a copy, so I'm adding those 17 volumes to my collection.

PS: Baby teen me had a crush on Ren. Adult me is now waving at Silva.

PPS: The fact that it has been 20 years since the original anime has catched up with me. I feel old.
