We're getting some game news starting this weekend and I'm equally parts excited and scared. On one hand, I'm excited about Square Enix giving us more information on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

On the other hand... I'm scared about EA. They're not doing a conference this year, just showing trailers, and none of the confirmed ones are for Dragon Age 4. It has already been 4 years since the huge cliffhanger that was the last DLC for the third game. So far, we only had one "trailer" last December, which was basically a picture and spoken line from the previous game.

Because of how Dragon Age games work, I understand them taking a bit longer to make the fourth game. Certain choices you make carry to the next game, so I get taking a while to put things in order for dialogue. BUT, I'm also worried that EA will decide that they want Bioware to work on Anthem and leave behind single player games, >.<

(Just like I fear that we'll get a change of protagonist and the Solavellan issue won't get the resolution it deserves)

Oh! And Bethesda. Their conference is at 2:30 am for me, but I'll try to watch it anyway. Wolfenstein: Youngblood comes out this summer, and I want to know if there are new projects for Arkane.

There's another game I'm waiting for news, but it's an indie, so nothing will come out  in the coferences, but maybe we'll get something over Twitter? I know, I know, no reason to get news, but I can dream.

The games in question is Afterparty, by Night School Studio AKA creators of Oxenfree (which I have to recommend). The premise? You and your friend are trapped in Hell, the key to get back to Earth? Outdrink Santa. The summary at Steam has promised me flirting with Satan.
