Afterparty is out!
Oct. 29th, 2019 05:04 pmSome months ago I played Oxenfree, by Night School Studio, so of course I had to play their new game. The plot is as follows: Two friends, Milo and Lola, die and end up in Hell. Of course, they need to get out of Hell. How? By out partying the Devil, The Prince of Lies Partying.
I have only played the beginning, but so far the tone of the game is very different from Oxenfree. Oxenfree was more along the lines of a scary game (not a horror game, think along the lines of Goosebumps). Afterparty is more a game that's self-aware and having a joke with itself.

Date: 2019-10-29 11:36 pm (UTC)Oxenfree is that kind of scary game. As in it's not like Outlast or something like Silent Hill or Resident Evil. Probably why I like it, it's a bit like Goosebumps, just the right amount of "oh, no!" for someone who can't get anywhere near a game with zombies or zombie-like monsters, XD

Date: 2019-11-11 01:07 pm (UTC)Sorry for taking so long to answer. My country had elections last week and I haven't felt like playing much because of the whole "the far right is rising" thing, so the game has been on hold for a week and I ran away from the Internet to avoid spoilers, ^^U
I'm playing it again, thought, and I'm currently on my way to outdrink the princes of Hell. I must say, I'm loving Sam so much! :D
