[community profile] rarepairsexchange has nominations open until the end of the month and I have added my suggestions!

Last year I got Éowyn/Imrahil, which is a ship I had never considered before and that I added to my offer list simply because it was from one of my fandoms and no one else was offering to write it.

I had so much fun writing that one! It was the first time I wrote anything involving Imrahil, who doesn't even show up that much in canon, but I still like how Éowyn and Imrahil's interactions came out in the fic.

This year I'm curious about who suggested Emily/The Outsider (Dishonored). I really hope that whoever nominated the ship also posts a prompt. I will also be hoping that that mysterious person offers to write the ship, then someone else besides me can deal with my AUs.

LOTS of Fire Emblem: Three Houses ships this year. More or less as many ships as the ones nominated for Fates and Awakening last year.

No Tolkien-related ships so far, but I'm keeping an eye on that section, see if whoever suggested Galadriel/Gandalf last year returns, because I would love to write about what those two got up to thousands of years ago when they were living in Valinor.

What an intriguing pairing suggestion! That's definitely something to keep an eye on.

Anyway, do tell me about these AUs!

It is a very interesting pairing trope! The way TO specifically goes out of his way to insert himself in her life and repeatedly interferes with events in order to - not assure her safety, but move the pieces around to that end - is super fascinating.

These are all so great. I think the last one is my favourite, partially because I have a weakness for Daud and think all post-Dishonored materials have done him so dirty (disclaimer: I haven't read his novel). But an Emily who believes she was raised by Delilah is also super intriguing.

I have no idea of why it happens, maybe Daud still trapped Delilah in the Void and she still manages to get out and grab part of its powers?

I don't think Daud raising Emily would necessarily stop Luca Abele, Breanna Ashworth and co from performing their ritual. You can do one and still include the other, especially if Hiram Burrows remains in power for the longterm, or an even lazier power structure is implemented in place of the imperial monarchy.
