In which I expend two weeks playing games

artabriaGuess who managed to get two weeks off work? Me. Guess who decided to expend that time reading and playing videogames? Also me. So, summary:
On the Elder Scrolls Online front, I have participated on several dungeons with members of my guild. Some of the dungeons were one veteran. And I used Discord's voice chat. I'm proud of myself for managing to not scream in fear at the idea of using voice chat.
Sidenote: I honestly don't know what's wrong with my microphone, or if it's Discord messing with me. Sometimes my voice is barely heard? I don't know what's happening, because I recorded a bit of my voice using it and it works. This is the second server where someone tells me that my mic is not working properly, but last time I checked Discord seemed to be having connection issues. So... Is my mic broken? Discord? Is my antivirus messing things up somehow? I don't know.
Also, Subnautica! Ladies and gentlemen, let's us have a moment of silence for the passing of my Seamoth, D.Va, at the hands of a Reaper Leviathan that pushed it below the 200m. Also, the tragic of D.Va Mk II at the hands of a Crabsquid, that fucker. Also, the bacterian infection is now killing me. YAY!
But! Good news, I made some progess: I found the Alien Research Facility, and the third and final Degasi Seabase. Also: I HAVE A CYCLOPS, BABY! Well, I have the blueprints for a Cyclops. And the blueprints for the Prawn Suit. I still have to build any of that, but I finally have them!
I have also started to play Fire Emblem: Warriors. The game so far is easier than Fire Emblem: Echoes, but I'm enjoying the story so far. Also, probably getting some spoilers on the other games. I must admit, killing 50-100 enemies on one attack feels great.
And you may ask yourself, what about Fire Emblem: Echoes? Am I still playing that? Celica has been promoted to Princess and I'm now working with Alm. I want that group to be a bit more powerful than they are right now before continuing with the story. I must also admit that I miss Celica's group, because she has so many Pegasus Knights and Mages, ToT
Also, I've been playing Mobius Final Fantasy on auto while watching videos and Versailles. I'm this close to finishing with the FF7 event, I just have to finish the last reactor and then I think I have bit left in Midgar? I have also finished Chapter 2, and omg things are starting to get interesting. This game has made me start to not trust anyone that speaks to me, that cute moogle that I want to hug is now untrustworty. Same with Princess Sarah. Garland is also walking on thin ice.

Is it because of Heroes? I heard they did something the fans didn't like, but I haven't been playing that one that much (so little time, T_T), so I don't know much of what's going on in the fandom.
I wanted to advance on Echoes a bit more this week, but Warriors is a lot of fun, XD

Date: 2019-01-07 11:33 am (UTC)But from not downgrading any new characters for months to insane powercreep to trying to push the absolutely terrible Heroes-original cast to blatantly ignoring some games (why in the seven shining hells is there not a single Jugdral legendary yet) to making it all the more painfully obvious they're going the waifu-and-loli route, baaah.
The continued radio silence on the dubious-to-me-to-begin-with Three Houses -- supposedly due out the first chunk of this year! after being delayed all the way out of 2018! ha -- just adds to the irritation.
So after some time stewing in my own juices I've decided to just stubbornly stump back to the FEs that I like best (and in some cases, screw the haters right in the eyeball). Blah. (_ )_
