Approaching the end of "Disc One"
Feb. 10th, 2020 12:11 pm "Nearly" done with Part 1 of Final Fantasy 7. Yuffie has been recruited and I've finished the Gold Saucer area plot line, so now it's time to go to Gongaga. Things that went through my mind:
1. It still amuses me that Sephiroth wasn't satisfied with just killing the Midgar Zolom, he also felt the need to impale the snake in a tree.
2. The Nibelheim flashback, when they're in the reactor. Sephiroth is supposed to be a tall guy, but he still needs to jump to reach the pod's window and my hearts knows that, had it been possible, he would have been kicking his little legs while looking into the pod.
3. I'm pretty sure that my Aerith can beat Cloud right now. At the very least, she's dealing more damage than him.
4. Forever laughing at Flying!Sephiroth at the ship.
I have also advanced a bit in Dissidia Opera Omnia, and now I'm halfway through Chapter 3 (Act 2, that's it). I have decided to ignore everything else in the game until I catch up with the story... Which probably means that I should do the same and catch up with the story in Fire Emblem Heroes, but I'm not that invested in that one. Honestly, I mostly play that game for the rythm mini-game, ^^U

Date: 2020-02-11 11:59 pm (UTC)I can't wait for when we'll get a remake of Nibelheim's destruction. Give me Sephiroth breaking down in glorious HD and everything burning down.
I live for the drama in my stories.
Of course, the question is WHEN are we getting the rest of FF7's story? Because if Part 1 is just Midgar... Maybe, if we're really lucky, the game will end in Kalm? Hopefully with Cloud's flashback explaining why he knew Sephiroth? Or maybe Cloud's flashback will be in a DLC and we can play it.
I need it to be April already, xD
