Bookbinding?
Jul. 18th, 2020 07:01 pm The lockdown is clearly starting to affect me. I have, somehow, ended up in the bookbinding section of Youtube and, look obtaining the ability of binding my favourite fanfics/adding to my ever growing stack of notebooks is very, very tempting.
Plus, it looks relaxing. And I have some cradboard around that was too thick to use for bobbin lacing.

Date: 2020-07-18 06:28 pm (UTC)The most difficult thing would be the presser, but she says that you can use things like heavy books as weights, but I think you can also use a pair of wood pieces and... clamp screws? I'm not sure of the proper name in English, but it would take less space than one of those big pressers.
And I just asked my father, and he thinks there's still a presser somewhere in the garage. It has never used for book binding (and until I find it, I don't know if I can use it for this), just to glue things together, but it's there somewhere, xD
EDIT: Forgot to link to one of the tutorials!
